Randall Gene Voss

Devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to everyone he met. Randy went home on Friday, February 26, 2016. He loved everything outdoors including hunting, fishing, camping, bonfires and attending the annual Oregon Jamboree. He loved baking cookies and bread on rainy days and gardening when the sun is out. He cherished any time he could spend with his grandchildren, especially fixing ice cream for breakfast. A strong, warm and caring man, he was deeply loved and will be missed by us all.

Randy was born December 13, 1959, and raised in Roseburg. A 1978 graduate of Roseburg High School, he developed construction skills working for his father at Voss & Sons Construction and later for Mike O'Mara Construction. Randy continued on to work as a construction millwright for Sun Studs where he was honored to work for the Sohn family before founding and operating RH Voss Construction, building and remodeling beautiful homes.

Randy was preceded in death by his father Robert Voss; mother Juanita Abel; and his brother Richard Voss. He is survived by his loving wife Heather Paterson-Voss; stepfather Dan Abel and his family; son Randen Voss and his wife Katie of Roseburg; daughter Tiffany Voss of Roseburg; stepsons Scott and Nathan Huckins of Denver, Colorado; his four grandchildren Randi, Ryker, Railey "Wilbur," and Redek; brother Rob Voss and his wife Muriel of Medford; sister Diana Sippel and her husband Tim of Portland.
