Raymond W. Carey

Raymond W. Carey, Jr. died Oct. 19, 2018 in California.  Born in Leverett, MA  Jan. 8, 1941 son of Raymond W. Carey, Sr. and Gertrude Maynard.  Ray graduated from New Salem Academy, Shutesbury,  MA. 1958.  Ray was a machinist by trade working for Starrett Tools, MA; Emerson Electric, AZ and Con-Vey Keystone, Roseburg, OR.Ray was an active sports person baseball, bowling and his favorite golf his whole life.  Favorite teams NE Patriots, Red Socks, Oregon Ducks, and Portland Trailblazers.
Ray leaves his wife Betty of 44 years, daughter Annette of NH, son Raymond III of AZ,; stepson Bruce of OR, step-daughters Tricia and Sally of AZ;  3 brothers Gerald MA, Doug (decd), Wayne NC; 3 sisters Lois, MA, Margie NY, and Lora, ME; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Ray also left behind many close friends.
Memorial Service to be held Tuesday October 30th @1pm at Oak Hills Golf Club.
