Raymond M. Garza

RAYMOND MARTINEZ GARZA 51, of Roseburg, Oregon passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 in a local hospital. He was born November 19, 1958 in Uvalde, Texas to Anita and Richard Garza Sr. Raymond graduated from Roseburg High School in 1977. He worked for 32 years for Gerretsens Building Supply as a delivery driver. Raymond enjoyed watching his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys play, watching WWF wrestling and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a friend to many and loved by all. Raymond possessed a caring and giving spirit to all he encountered. He was a dependable and honorable man, an example to others. He will be truly missed. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Carol Garza; daughters Ashley Marshall and her husband Nick and Monica Garza; mother Anita Garza; five brothers Richard Garza Jr., Robert Garza, Ralph Garza, Raul Garza and Eddie Garza and their wives and children; many friends and extended family. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 7:00 pm at New Life Christian Center. Pastor Tim Powlison will officiate. Those who wish may pay their respects on Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses.
