Ricky David Brown

June 12, 1955 — August 20, 2020

Ricky “Rick” David Brown, 65, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away at his home on August 20th, 2020.
Rick was born June 12th, 1955 to Donald and Anna Brown in Palo Alto, CA.
A Vietnam Veteran and fierce protector of freedom and family, Rick proudly served in and was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force.
A manual and CNC Machinist by trade, Rick was known for his mechanical aptitude and taking advantage of any opportunity to make something work better, run faster, go farther or if all else failed - explode.
Rick “Longneck” Brown was a Fraternal Brother of the Ancient and Honorable Order of E Clampus Vitus (Chapter 86), had an infectious affinity for fun, and his approach to life was emblematic of the requirements of Clamperdom; “a good sense of humor, a relatively thick skin, a cast-iron stomach, an open mind, a flair for the ridiculous, and an appreciation of absurdity.”
Heaven has now received a new Gate Guardian; one who is sharing tales of epic video game battles, monster fish landed on the Walker River, and love for cinnamon whiskey.
Rick is predeceased by his father Donald Brown.  He is survived by his mother, Anna Fogarty; his wife, Colleen Brown; his brother Donald “Jim” Brown Jr.; his sister Lynda K. Brown-Wulfekuhler; his three children, Brandon Brown, Bryan Brown, and Sarah Brown; and his grandchildren Brandon Brown Jr. and Brayden Brown.
