Robert Nelson "Bob" Brockmann

ROBERT (BOB) NELSON BROCKMANN, 72, of Winchester, Oregon passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017. He was born January 8, 1945 in San Francisco, California to Willard and Valerie Brockmann. Bob received an AA Degree. He married the love of his life Jan in 1971. Bob worked for many years in the oil fields and retired in 2000 as a Senior Foreman. Bob and Jan lived in Santa Maria and Fortuna, California prior to moving to Winchester 11 years ago. He loved to fix things, and always found new ways to make them better, faster, or longer lasting. Bob was known to always do anything it took to support his family. He was an avid enthusiast of NHRA Drag Racing. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Jan Brockmann; daughters Cari and Janette, sons Rob and Jay, and many wonderful friends. Bob was preceded in death by his beloved mother Valerie Gilgert. A Celebration of Life will be held for Bob at his home, 136 Jacks Court, Winchester on Monday, July 3, 2017 from 1-3 PM.
