Robert Frederick Jarvis II
Bob Jarvis passed away at home in Roseburg, Oregon, on December 10, 2012 at the age of 54. He was born on January 29, 1958 in Massena, New York, the son of Robert Frederick Jarvis and Jean La Plante Jarvis McMillan.
He grew up in Eagle Point, Oregon, graduated from Roseburg High School in 1976, and owned his own business, Bob Jarvis Welding. He worked as a welder and machinist for many years. He married Dee Jarvis in 1980; one daughter, Kymberly Jarvis was born from this union. In 1991, he married Dawn Jarvis; three children were from this union; daughters, Jennifer Marshall, Brittany Coe and son, Robbie Jarvis.
He loved his family, children, grandchildren and helping anyone in need. His family was the light of his life. He was an amazing brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. Robert had an amazing laugh and contagious smile and you couldn't help but laugh and smile with him. He was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Ford trucks. He was a member of New Beginning Assembly of God and worked for Pastor Randy Scroggins in his church for 12 years. He will be extremely missed by many and a big piece of our heart goes with him.
Bob is survived by his wife, Dawn Jarvis; daughters, Kymberly Jarvis, Jennifer Marshall, and Brittany (David) Coe; son, Robbie Jarvis; sisters, JoAnn (Larry) Luehring, and Bonnie Viker; brothers, Paul Jarvis, Bill (Laura) McMillan, Steve McMillan, and Mark McMillan; grandchildren, Daisha Marshall, Dahlya and Ethan Holt, and Bentley Coe; nieces, nephews and cousins, Sarah, Michael and Zachary Luehring, Jaimie Pierson, Billy, Jessie and Whitney McMillan, Kevin Adams, Aila McMillan and Gage Stocker. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and stepfather.
