Robert "Bob" Noah Rose, III age 74, of Sutherlin, Oregon, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2011. He was born February 2, 1937, in Sutherlin. He was raised in Sutherlin and lived there until 1987, when he bought a ranch in Yoncalla, Oregon, lived there for 12 years before moving back to Sutherlin. He graduated from Sutherlin High School. Robert worked as a mill worker at Martin Bros. Box Company, Nordic and Mt. Mazama Plywood. He also worked as a logger and then became semi retired as a rancher. He enjoyed NRA, anything to do with hunting, camping with his family and spending time with his grandchildren. Robert also enjoyed golfing, ATV, rooting for Oregon State University. He is survived by wife of 55 years, Sandra Rose; daughter, Sheri and Peter Kimbrel; son, Robert Noah Rose IV and Susan; sisters, Margaret and Mike Mann, and Judy Rose; grandchildren, Scott and wife, Samantha, Bryce, Amber, Noah and honorary granddaughter, Becky; great-grandson, Scott Jr.; nieces Marci, Michael, Jennifer and numerous friends and extended family. A memorial service will be held at Chapel of the Roses in Sutherlin on Saturday, October 8, 2011, at 2 p.m. with pastor, Steve David officiating. A private family burial will be held. A special thanks to Chantele's Loving Touch and all the caregivers who took such wonderful care of him. Also thanks to April and David from Mercy Hospice and Community Cancer Center.
