Roger William Rasmussen

Roger W. Rasmussen, Age 77, passed away July 5, 2014 in Roseburg, Oregon.
Born April 13, 1937 in Scobey, Montana to Herlov and Hazel Rasmussen.
Roger served in the Navy from 1954 " 1957. He worked as a heavy equipment operator in Montana and Idaho. Roger moved to Henderson, Nevada in 1968 where he worked as a carpenter in Las Vegas until his retirement in 1989, at which time he relocated to Roseburg, Oregon. He is survived by his wife Shirley of 50 years, his 3 sons - Ted King (Lorrie) of Henderson, NV, Mark King of Roseburg, OR, Tracy King (Jody) Winston, OR. his 9 daughters " Roxanna King, Las Vegas, NV, Sheila King, Henderson, NV, Cassie Robinson (Todd) of Henderson, NV, Christine Love (Jonathan) of Louisville, KY, Wendy Reiland (James) of Pahrump NV, Angela McArdle of Wall, New Jersey, Carla Price (Mike), Great Falls, MT, Cheri Steinmetz (Buzz) of Great Falls, Montana, and Darla Grossman of Las Vegas, NV. Brother, Carl Rasmussen (Jan) of Omack, WA, Sister Esther Barker (Don) from Salome, AZ, 45 grandchildren (and their 24 spouses), 63 Great Grandchildren with 3 more on the way., and daughter in law; Sandra King of Mount Morris, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Tammy Mora, his son Lonnie King, and his brother Dale Rasmussen. He loved spending time with his family, especially all of his many grandchildren who really thought their grandpa was Superman. He will be greatly missed by his family, and his many friends who loved him.
