Surviving spouse of Joseph A. Alioto, passed on Nov. 13, 2009 in Roseburg, Oregon at 90 years old. She was born on July 20, 1919 In Augusta, Italy to Salvatore & Luisa Piazza. She spent her life in the Italian neighbor called "North Beach" with her family and friends until moving to Oregon eight years ago to be close to her daughter and new Oregonian friends. Her adoring children and spouses Anthony (Sonia), Salvatore (Catherine) & Carolina (Charles) Lesca will miss her unfathomed love. She will also be remembered for the warmth of her vibrant operatic voice. Her loving grandchildren will miss her dearly: Sally, Joseph, Antonino, John & Emilia. And also her Great-grandchildren: Hannah & Caroline. Rose's siblings: Giuseppe (Joe), Giuseppina (Josie-deceased), Charlie, Salvatore, Stella, Eleanor, & Domenic (deceased). Burial services to be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma, CA 12:00pm Friday November 20, 2009.
