Ruby was born in Casa, Ark. Apr. 20, 1920 and she passed away Sept. 12, 2010. She moved to Sutherlin in 1951. She worked at Mercy Hosp. as a housekeeper for 24 yrs., retiring at age 80. Ruby loved to work with her flowers and to travel to Ark.
Ruby is survived by 1 sister, 2 brothers, 2 children, 6 grandkids, 15 g. grandkids, 9 g.g. grand kids. She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Herndon, daughter Janis Kay Wise, 1 granddaughter, 1 g-granddaughter.
Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sept. 18, 2010 at the Old Scotch Church Cemetery (Tualatin Plains Prespyterian Church Cemetery) 30685 NW Scotch Church Road, Hillsboro, OR 97124-8331
