Ruby J. Moore
February 16, 1928 — July 11, 2014
Age 88, left us peacefully July 11, 2014, to her eternal home in Heaven, with her Savior Christ Jesus.
Born in Sheridan, Arkansas, to Samuel and Lula Henslee on February 16, 1926. She married the love of her life Howard Moore in Sheridan on July 27, 1944. They moved to Oregon in 1949. Ruby was a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, making quilts, cooking and gardening. Her life was centered around her family. She was deeply loved and will be truly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard, siblings Coy Henslee, Gladys Dilley, daughter Betty Moore, great-granddaughter Kylie Craw, and great-great-granddaughter Mariela Bollingberg. She is survived by her children Randall (Monnie) Moore of Sutherlin, Oregon, Wanda (Harry) Ruchaber of Roseburg, Oregon, and Rick (Carol) Moore of Oakland, Oregon. 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Special thanks to Robin and Bill Kemke Care Home where she resided for the last 1 1/2 years for the wonderful care and comfort she received. Known to all there as "Miss Ruby". Also, thanks to Mercy Hospice.
There will be a viewing on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 3-5pm at the Sutherlin Chapel of the Roses, 311 E Central Ave, Sutherlin, OR 97479. Graveside service to be held Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Fair Oaks Cemetery.
