Ruby Alameda Stevens (Howe)

RUBY ALAMEDA STEVENS, 88, of Sutherlin, Oregon died Saturday, August 30, 2014 of natural causes. She was born October 29, 1925 in Sunland, California to Thomas Howe and Bertha James. Ruby was the oldest of four children. She married Leslie Stevens on December 30, 1945 in Tujunga, California. They had six children; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and numerous extended family. Survivors include her sister Dorothy; daughters Linda, Susan, Mary and Martha; son Larry; Viewing will be held Monday, September 8th from 12:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Sutherlin Chapel of the Roses. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 11:00 AM at The Father's House in Sutherlin. Pastor Bill Sanders will officiate. Interment will follow within the grounds of the Valley View Cemetery.
