Ryan Joseph Matthews

Ryan Joseph Matthews July 17, 1990 C November 18, 2009 ¡¡ Ryan left this world way too soon in a tragic accident but we believe that he is with his Heavenly Father in the only place that is perfect. We are so comforted to know that upon his recent return from his overseas military tour of duty that he began his true relationship with God. We are proud of his accomplishments and of the man that he came to be. He recently served in the war in Afghanistan as a proud member of the United States Air Force. The friends and extended family that he met while in the military are very close to his heart. Ryan is a beloved and special son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend to his parents, brother, grandparents, and all of his aunts, uncles and friends. He loved being with his family and friends and was always the one who was remembered for his smile. More than anything on earth, Ryan loved to hunt and be in the outdoors with nature, wildlife, mountains, trees, and mud and dirt. We will miss Ryan tremendously, and he will never be forgotten. He will be in our hearts always. Graveside service with Military Honor will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday November 24, 2009 at the Roseburg National Cemetery.
