Sandra Kay Allen

SANDRA "SANDY" KAY ALLEN 67 of Roseburg, Oregon passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at her home. She was born July 7, 1947 in Roseburg, Oregon to Wanda Rodman and Jimmy Haun. Sandy was a hard worker over her years. She was on the Quarter Horse Association and worked at Trojan Nuclear Plant until she relocated back to Roseburg where she had a house built. Sandy worked at Champion Plywood until it closed. She then went to school to be a CNA. Sandy continued her work at Rose Haven until 1998 when she was diagnosed with brain cancer. She was an 18 year survivor. Sandy had so many battles in this world but she went to Heaven to be with her Lord. Survivors include her four children, Michael Loughridge and his wife Kimberly, Richard Loughridge and his wife Teresa, Heather Allen-Muir and her husband Jeffrey and Amber Allen-Waltz; nine grandchildren Devin and Matthew Loughridge, Aaron Loughridge, Andrea and Sydney Bryant, Josh Allen, Jace and Jodi Waltz; four sisters Leslie Dawson, Jodi Newell, Lori Klugman and Theresa Haun; a brother Steven Garboden; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents Earl and Mary Rodman; uncle Dick and dad Les Spencer. Those who wish may pay their respects on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 3 until 7 PM at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 12:00 - 6:00 PM at the Tri-City Fire Dept. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Sandy's memory to the Cancer Society.
