Sandra Kaye Jensen

Sandra Kaye Jensen passed away unexpectedly at her home in Roseburg, Oregon on April 14th 2011, at the age of 64. Sandra was born December 11, 1946 in Lincoln Nebraska, the daughter of Stanley Jensen of Minden Nebraska and Jean Buxton. She grew up in Nebraska, Wyoming and Los Angeles, California. She married Dale Pete Housel in 1966 and moved to the Reno Nevada area to raise their children. Sandra has lived in Roseburg for the past 26 years and has worked for the Veterans Administration most of that time. Sandra is survived by her children, Benjamin Roy Housel, Clinton Dean Housel and wife Candice Housel, brother Stephen Buxton wife Hilda Buxton and son Sean Buxton; grandchildren Nancy Anderson Housel, Patricia Housel, Johnathan Housel, and Sara Housel; and great granddaughter Melanie Anderson. Sandra's service will be held at the Wilson's Chapel of Roses in Roseburg on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. Private family services will be held at a later date with internment in the Campbell family plot, in Alma Nebraska under the direction of Banta-Torrey Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest with her mother, Jean Buxton, grandparents, Rose and Roy Cramer and members of the Haugh, and Campbell family.
