Sandra Rae Standley

Sandra Rae Welker "Standley", age 75, passed away from a long battle with cancer on April 23, 2012. Sandra was born in Beatrice, Nebraska in June of 1936 to Oscar and Helen Means. She graduated from Roseburg High School in 1954, and worked as a waitress for 40 years before retiring. Sandra was an avid bingo player and she loved being with family and friends. Survivors include her son; Kevin (Brenda) Welker from Winston, OR, step son; Paul (Cindy) Standley from Camas Valley, OR, sister; Sharon (Ron) from Florence, OR, brother; Larry Means from Roseburg, OR, grandchildren; Lance (Mercedes), great granddaughter; Lexi, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her good friends Betty and Herman from Roseburg, OR. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Sheryl and grandson Chris. A funeral celebration of her life will be held at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses on Friday May 4th, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be held before the service from 11 to 1 pm.
