Sarabeth Elnora Magnussen

Sarabeth Elnora Magnussen Resident of Sutherlin, Oregon since 1987 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 in her daughter's home attended by loving family members. Sarabeth was born in Des Moines, Iowa on December 25, 1917. She survived her husband, Haakon, for 7 years prior to her graceful departure from us. Her two sons, Ralph and Haakon Jr, her daughter, Carol Ann James, 10 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren survive her. Our mother always looked at the bright side and through our tears we will strive to do the same. Her strength, compassion, capacity for caring and her boundless resilience will be fondly remembered. All who knew her will miss her loving spirit. A special thank you to Dr. Joel Lee, Dr. O'Neil, Mercy Hospice staff, and Lora's Home Care for the excellent care of our mother.
