Shane M. Moats

Shane Matthew Moats Was taken away at the young age of 34, on Sunday, February 6, 2011 to be with the Lord. He was born in Roseburg, Oregon on March 1, 1976, to his parents Jeff and Vickie Moats. He was preceded in death by his father Jeff on January 4, 1998 and Grandmother Marlene (Luth) Crawford on Mothers Day 2002. Shane had a kind and gentle spirit much like his father and loved by many friends and family. He is survived by his mother Vickie and step-father Phil Standley, sister Rhea and her husband Sean Hannigan, grandparents Bill Moats and wife Jeri, Peggy Pfaff and husband Steve Johnson, Bill Luth and wife Shirley, Bob Crawford and wife Patricia, Uncles and Aunts; Sam Moats from Washington State, Terri Moats from Hawaii, Sydney (Moats) Ryerson from Montana, Eric and Ann Long from Roseburg, Tim and Nancy Cummins from Roseburg, step-sister and brothers Jacinda Standley from South Carolina, Phillip A Standley, and Andrew Standley, both from Roseburg and many cousins locally and abroad. We thank you, Shane, for the opportunity to be touched by your gentle, kind, loving soul and beautiful smile, while here on this earth. The memory of you now lives on in all our souls; you will never be forgotten and always loved. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 15th at New Life Christian Center, 1723 NE Vine Street, Roseburg @ 3:00pm.
