Sherry Anne Pope of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away due to respiratory problems on April 4, 2018. She was born April 20, 1973, in Roseburg, Oregon, to Jerry and Lorena (Barrington) Pope.
As a child she loved Barbie Dolls and developed a passion for singing. She sang at the dinner table, family events, and was the singer for a band. She was always a free spirit and idolized Janice Joplin (go figure), she carried her heart on her sleeve, and made time for those less fortunate. She was very intelligent, but most of all artistic, and looked at the brighter side of life. She loved nature and being outside, hiking to waterfalls, walking her dog, and working in her garden.
Sherry attended Roseburg High School and obtained her Associate Degree in Accounting from Umpqua Community College. She worked at the YMCA as their payroll clerk before becoming the office manager of her familys business, Home Insulation.
Sherry is preceded in death by her mother, Lorena Pope. She leaves behind her father, Jerry; brother, Kyle; nephew, Anthony; as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.
