Sophia Marie Licona "Waffles" Weinhold

Sophia Marie Licona Weinhold, 14, "Waffles" of Roseburg, OR passed away on March 7, 2015 after a gallant battle with Glioblastoma. She was born in Roseburg to Wendie and Juan Renteria. Sophia loved to play the flute, play softball, volleyball, running track and especially loved horses. She was attending the 8th grade at
Glide Middle School. Sophia had dreamed of becoming a veterinarian.
Surviving Sophia are her parents, a sister, Sasha and brothers Derick and Moises. Also surviving is her Grandfather Dennis Weinhold, uncles, Eric Z, Eric, Chris, Travis; Aunts; Dawn, Jody Z; a niece Kierra cousins:Diego, Diana, Wynter, Sabastian, Shaunty Lola, Coco, and many friends in the Glide Community.
Visitation will be Saturday March 14, 2015 from10 am until 12:00 with a mass at St Joseph Catholic Church at 1 pm. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Donations can be made to Umpqua Bank in lieu of flowers in Sophia's name. The family wishes to thank the Glide community and members of team Sophia for all their love and support. You will be missed, but forever in our hearts, We love you.
