Thomas Mitchael Rosson "Mitch" Born July 30, 1949, Roseburg, Oregon. Passed away on September 22, 2010. Proceeded in death by his wonderful mom Janie "Nana" Rosson & Dad, Thomas Rosson - long time resident of Sutherlin, OR and later moving to Mountain Home Arkansas. His beloved grandparents John & Pauline Seastrunk-Oakland, OR.
He is survived by his son Keith Rosson, Oregon, daughter Heather Akins and 2 grandchildren Dustin & Seth of Sutherlin, his brother David Rosson, Yoncalla, OR, his sister's Jolene Rosson, MtHome, AR. Diana L. Ross, Oakland, Oregon, nephews Dean, Tom, Scotty, Bruce, Levi, Trent, nieces, Maria, Heather, Melonie, Abby, Megan.
Mitch had a love for family get togethers. He often teased younger members with scary storys and creepy crawlys.
His friends were contractors, working folks and down and outters. His dog Sassie was a faithful companion for 15 years. Mitch said "You can teach a old dog tricks, it just takes longer."
He had a love for hunting and ofter helped others who were unable to drag, hang, and skin their own game. He often helped find a down deer that didn't leave enough trail for most of us. Fishing was his major love and he could almost coax a trout from a dry stream, often cooking it on the spot.
Mitch died frim acute alcoholism. In his past, he said "I never thought this would happen to me, I never would of thought I couldn't stop drink'n when I wanted too."
A memorial service will be held at Stearns Park in Oakland, Oregon, October 3rd 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.. Family and friends invite you to say goodbye and we love ya "Mitch" one last time.
