Vereta "Dee Dee" Church

Age 85, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2015, in Springfield, Oregon. Dee Dee was born in Pushmataha, Oklahoma, to Wade and Nellie Gentry on April 14, 1930. She married Harold Church. Dee Dee was a homemaker who enjoyed doll making and also being a volunteer at the Roseburg YMCA. She was preceded in death by her parents Wade and Nellie; three sons; one daughter; one granddaughter; and nine brothers and sisters.
Dee Dee is survived by her husband of 39 years, Harold; sons Joe George and Robert Morris; brothers Wayland Gentry and Gale Gentry; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015, at 10 a.m. at the Sutherlin Chapel of the Roses. Pastor John Lusby will be officiating.
