Violet Mae Dozhier

Violet Mae Dozhier was born September 3, 1931 in Salina, Oklahoma to Clyde William Madlock and Ida Mae Jones. She married the love of her life, Arvil Junior Dozhier on March 5, 1948. She birthed 8 children, 6 boys and 2 girls. Her family was her entire life.  She loved cooking, canning and growing flowers in her yard. Violet also loved to take road trips later in life with Arvil and her grown children and grandchildren. She traveled all through the Midwest and Western States and a story to tell about each place and the loved ones that she explored the place with. Violet was preceded in death by her husband Arvil Dozhier; son Leon Dozhier; grandson Brandon Schultz and great granddaughter Gabrielle Lynn Dozhier. Survivors include her 2 daughters Jeannie Whitlatch and Cheryl Schultz; 5 sons Bob Dozhier, Don Dozhier, Bill Dozhier, Steve Dozhier and Doug Dozhier; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services will be held at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM. A potluck dinner will follow at Pine Grove Community Church at 1729 Buckhorn Road, Roseburg.
