Virginia M Weisz

August 25, 1922 — July 26, 2018

The Lord called Jane home to join her husband & family in the early hours of the morning on July 26, 2018.
Virginia “Jane” Weisz was the youngest of ten children born to Herman and Mary Schulze on August 25, 1922.
She was raised on the Shulze’s family farm in Lookingglass and attended the old Brockway School, graduating High School from the Lookingglass School.
Jane mat Otto Weisz and they married on January 4, 1941. They purchased a portion of the Schulze family farm from Jane’s dad. She loved the farm life, especially her chickens and the orchard work, while Otto raised cows, and cut his own hay and all other typical farm life chores. As a couple, they also loved attending auctions and bringing home treasures. Jane’s second love was driving school bus for District # 116 in the Winston- Dillard area. She drove for 34 years before retiring. She loved the kids and even their antics.
After Otto passed away Jane eventually had to give up the farm life and was moved on to the Callahan Village for her remaining years.
Jane is survived by three children; Rudy & Mary Weisz of Lookingglass, Diana & Dave Harland of Umpqua, Cindy & Al Harris of Fern Ridge. Seven Grandchildren; Sue & Carl (Weisz) Johnson, Casey Weisz, Dorena & Douglas (Harland) Phillips, Douglas & Terre Harland, Christy Harris, Angie & Shane (Harris) D’Agostino & Danny Harris; Great Grandchildren Christian, Steven & Michaela Johnson, Kailey & Colton (Phillips) Peavler, Cody Phillips, Davis Harland, Rachel Harland, Kaitlyn & Ethan D’Agostino, and one Great-Great Grandchild; Asher Phillips.
