Wanda D Chisum went home to be with Jesus on December 28, 2011 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born January 12, 1934 in Ada OK. Her battle was hard but her faith remained strong throughout. Her wish was that everyone comes to know Christ and His Love.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend Bill Chisum. Son, Rocky Valin, and his wife Cyndi of Alameda Ca.and daughter Laura Daly of GrassValley Ca. Also step daughter Denise Chisum of Water Valley Wa, step sons, Timmy Chisum of Wenatchee Wa. and Billy Chisum of Danville Ca. One brother, Bill Winfield and numerous grandchildren. Wanda had many friends including special friends, Liz Schmidt, Richard and Debbie Williams and shopping partner Irene Poer.
Wanda was a long time employee for Harry Ritchie's Jewelers in Roseburg where she received many awards for outstanding salesmanship. She was also a member of the Winston Foursquare Gospel Center where she loved to worship Jesus with family and friends as long as she was able. She loved life and always had a smile for everyone that made them feel very special and much loved. Her love and smiles will be missed by us all.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
