Wanda Mae Ware, 96 of Roseburg, Oregon passed away Wednesday April 14, 2010, peacefully at home with her family nearby. She was born on July 30, 1913 in Roseburg, Oregon to Romanso and Mollie (Pennie) Wood. Wanda graduate from Roseburg High School in 1931 and soon after on August 12, she married Darley Edward Ware in Roseburg. Wanda was a devoted mother and raised 4 children. She was a long time member of the 1st Presbyterian Church. A member of the Riversdale Grange since 1936, member of the University of Oregon mothers club from 1951 to 1955, and a devoted member to the Patch and Chat women's club. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Darley E. Ware on March 17, 2005, also her brother Ralph Maxson Wood and sister Mary (Wood) Johnson. She is survived by her children, Joanne and her husband Les West of Roseburg, OR, Don Ware and his wife Wannell of Brownsville, OR, Mollie LeClaire of Tualatin, OR, Romey Ware of Roseburg, OR, 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchildren. A private family viewing has been held. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Wilson's Chapel of the Roses is in charge of the arrangements.
