Age 95, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015. Bill was born on December 31, 1919, to Lorris and Lena (Erickson) Singleton in Singleton Valley. He lived his entire life in Roseburg, graduating from Glide High School in 1938. He served in the Navy during WWII, and returned home to Roseburg to become a rancher. He was married to Juanita Osborn for 61 years. She preceded him in death in April 2001. He was also preceded in death by one daughter; two great-grandsons; and one great-great-grandson.
Bill enjoyed hunting and ranching. He is survived by his daughters Phyllis and Sharon and their families; son Lorris and his family. He is also survived by his brother Charlie Singleton; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, niece, nephews, and cousins.
A viewing will be held at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, from noon to 5 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Oak Creek Cemetery on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at 2p.m.
