Wilma Markee (Feldkamp) Markee

May 29, 1921 — November 11, 2012

Wilma P. Markee was born on May 29th 1921 and passed away on November 11th 2012 -
she was 91. She was the first child of Ormond and Josephine Feldkamp and spent the first
7 years of her life on a ranch outside Saline, Michigan. They moved to Oakland, Oregon
around 1928. Wilma graduated from Roseburg High School in 1939 where she had been
a cheerleader. She studied Business at Oregon State for one year and studied another
year at a business school in Portland. She then went to work for Alcoa. Wilma married
Ed Wyatt shortly after W W II. She spend the next 25 years raising three boys. Wilma
then married Keith Markee in 1975 spending nearly 20 wonderful years together. Wilma
was a devoted mother - she loved her sons and we loved her. She also had a special love
for life and took such joy in simple things like playing bridge, making greeting cards,
or just taking a walk. Wilma also enjoyed creating pictures out of dried flowers. She
was still walking, driving her car, and enjoying life. If you saw Wilma fun was soon to
follow. Wilma was proceeded in death by her husbands Ed Wyatt and Keith Markee;
son David Wyatt; brothers Bob and Jerry Feldkamp. Wilma is survived by her son and
daughter-in- law Michael and Sung In Wyatt of New York, son Kelly Wyatt of Roseburg,
two granddaughters Jennifer and Wyamone Wyatt of New York, sister-in-law Phyllis
Feldkamp, and Nephews Steve Feldkamp his wife Jerry Feldkamp, Doug Feldkamp his
wife Mechelle Feldkamp, and nephew Jim Feldkamp. A memorial service will be held
Monday, November 19, 2012 at 11:00 am at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses 965 Harvard Avenue. Following will be a reception at her home at 363 W. Chapman Ave.
