Zelpha Mercedes "Zee" Strange (Lage)

Mrs Zelpha M. (Lage) Strange, 95 of Sutherlin "Zee" passed away on June 4, 2017 at her home with her family surrounding her. Zee was born on January 13, 1922 in Bellingham, Washington. She married James B. Strange in 1943. She graduated from UCC as an RN. Zee was employed at the Roseburg VA Medical Center before moving to the Walla Walla VA as and RN and retired after 20 years of service. She was a member of the Yoncalla Seventh Day Adventist Church for over 34 years. Zee is preceded in death by her husband, in September 1992. Surviving her is her daughter Billie Snook and grandchildren: Donette McKinney and Jim Snook. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Declan McKinney and Lachlain Snook along with numerous other family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the Yoncalla Seventh Day Adventist Church at 2:30 pm with Pastor Kevin Miller officiating.
